Ms. Lin teaches accelerated mathematical problem solving for the New York Math Circle - including topics like Algebra, Geometry, Number Theory, Combinatorics, and Probability. She currently leads the New York Math Circle's Middle School B and High School A+ courses.
Ms. Lin presented problem solving strategies throughout the 2018 Bronx MoMathlon for the National Museum of Mathematics at Ethical Culture Fieldston School in May 2018. She will also present at the 17th annual TIME 2000 conference Celebrating Mathematics Teaching at Queen's College in November 2018.
Ms. Lin was named a Quizlet Teacher Ambassador in 2018. As a Quizlet Teacher Ambassador, Ms. Lin beta tests new features, demonstrates Quizlet functionality for fellow educators, and shares dozens of Quizlet Live sets to spark student engagement.
Ms. Lin was named a Khan Academy Ambassador and Teacher Support Advocate in 2017. As a Khan Academy Ambassador, Ms. Lin fields questions from teachers and students worldwide, demonstrates coaching features to fellow educators, and uses Khan Academy's calibrated online learning missions to foster conceptual understanding and academic excellence in her own students.
Ms. Lin also contributes translations as a member of Khan Academy's Chinese Traditional localization team.

For the 2017-2018 year, Ms. Lin coached the Hunter College Elementary School math team of 6th graders, who won Best New School at Manhattan Chapter MATHCOUNTS by placing 13th in a field of forty-five (mostly 8th grade) teams.
Previously, Ms. Lin coached 6th, 7th, and 8th grade MATHCOUNTS teams comprised of underserved, low-income students at Brooklyn Excelsior, MS/HS 223, and Tech International. Two of her students advanced from the Bronx to NY State MATHCOUNTS and went on to attend Bronx Science:
From 2013-2017, Ms. Lin taught Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II/Trig, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Calculus, Writing III, LEGO Engineering, Circuits, & Design, and Software Engineering in Scheme for the Science and Technology Entry Program at Barnard College of Columbia University.
From 2015-2017, Ms. Lin taught 7th and 8th Grade Math at Tech International Charter School. All of her students (ELL/SPED included) participated in Hour of Code during CSEdWeek, completed the Bootstrap functional programming curriculum, and designed mobile-compatible video games of their own on WeScheme.
For bringing the Bootstrap functional programming curriculum to hundreds of minority, low-income students, Ms. Lin received the Wadler Award from Brown University during CSEdWeek in 2016.
Very occasionally, Ms. Lin teaches Vinyasa Yoga community classes at Yoga Vida's Broadway location in NoHo.
